Fictional Company

Fictional Company is an Estonian company dedicated to welding, bending and assembly.

The company was established in fictional month of fictional year. Since then, we are slowly but steadily growing. The independent business statistics website ssb.ee has ranked our credit score as "very good".
We do export to the EU.

Fictional Company guarantees delivery reliability and quality.
We have developed a management system that meets the requirements of international standards: We weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum with MIG, MAG and TIG. We weld sheet metal and pipes. We follow technical drawings in manufacturing parts.
The production is placed in a spacious bright building, which provides for a good working atmosphere and allows us to work with big parts.
In quality control, we apply the principles of nondestructive testing (NDT). Visual testing (VT), magnetic-particle testing (MT).

We are located in Fictional County, in the settlement Fictional which is adjacent to the town of Fictional.

"Fictional Company digital turnaround project" has received support from NextGenerationEU - a restoration fund of the European Union.

Project summary:

The aim of the project is an increase in the digitalisation of Fictional Company's production, and thereby an increase in the company's added value per employee. Fictional Company is purchasing a new tube laser cutting machine and a welding robot.

Project objective and outcome:

The aim of the project is to increase the added value of the company through the implementation of digitalisation and automation. As a result of the project, a new pipe laser cutting machine and welding robot will be installed, which will increase the production capacity by about 40%.

The new tube laser cutting machine is an innovative solution for the company, which removes the need for and dependence on customer-supplied products. The tube laser cutting machine is accompanied by an automatic loading system, which is integrated in terms of hardware and software. The automatic loading system allows automatic measurement of tube lengths and has an automatic unloading table allowing automatic removal of finished parts from the bench. The pipe laser cutting machine has integrated nesting software that allows automatic generation of cutting programs, which automatically combines different working instructions to minimise material and time consumption.

The new welding robot reduces labour requirements, streamlines production quality and increases production capacity. The new welding robot is an innovation for the company, which has been doing only manual welding. The welding robot is supplied with software that is integrated with each other and allows communication between the welding robot and the robot controller, data exchange, configuration and remote management of the device. Support system software is integrated with the welding robot to monitor the robot in real time and reduce downtime through automatic notifications.
